Eagles City and Healing Ministries Inc. an interdenominational, multicultural congregation. We are a ministry where Christ is made known through Preaching of the gospel, conferences, and outreach programs. At Eagles City, we value all people and building healthy relationship with focus on families, and maintaining the integrity and the soundness of God’s word.
We believe in the demonstration of God’s compassion to all humanity and enforcing the rights and benefits of the finished work of the cross for every believer. We also believe in the power of God’s healing and deliverance today. These are some of our beliefs.
THE WORD: The Bible was given by the inspiration of God and is the only sufficient, certain, and authoritative rule of all saving knowledge, faith obedience. II Tim 3:16, Psalm 119:9-11.
GOD: There is one God revealed to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each with distinct attributes. To God alone do all creatures owe the highest reverence, love and obedience. Exodus 20: 1-6, Math 28:19, II Corinthians 13:14
JESUS: Jesus Christ is the Son and is divinely appointed as mediator between God and man. He died, was buried, and arose on the third day, ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God interceding for us I Tim 2:5, Rom 8 -34
HOLY SPIRIT: The indwelling of the Holy Spirit is vital for understanding the Word, the power of witness and for spiritual fruit in the life of a believer. Gal 5:22, Acts 4:31, John 16:13-14
SALVATION: Regeneration is a change of heart by the Holy Spirit to a life of Holiness, freely given by repentance and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
BAPTISM: Water Baptism by immersion is an ordinance of the Church, obligatory upon every believer. 1 Peter 3:20 – 22, Mark 16:16 (Children and infants may be dedicated to the Lord, but they will not be water baptized.
FRUITFULNESS: The continual practice of the spiritual disciplines such as Prayer, Fasting, Bible Study and Worship is necessary for Christian growth and fruitfulness. I Corinthians 4:2, Joshua 1:8, II Tim 2:15
LOCAL CHURCH: Each Believer must be committed to a local assembly for spiritual oversight, accountability and participation.
We believe all men are born with a sinful nature and that the work of the Cross was to redeem man from the power of sin. We believe that this salvation is available to all who will receive it.
We believe in the existence of the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Trinity and in His interaction with man. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as manifested by the fruit and the gifts of the Spirit. We believe in the scripture as the inspired Word of God and that it is the complete revelation of God’s will for mankind. We believe in the absolute authority of the scripture to govern the affairs of men.
We believe in divine healing which is the restoration of health to one who believes and acts on God’s Word and that Jesus is the Healer. We further believe that by the stripes of Jesus we are healed!
We believe that every man is the steward of his life and resources which ultimately belong to God. We believe that tithing is a measure of obedience to the scriptural principles of stewardship. We believe in tithing and bringing offerings into the local church. We believe in giving alms, and caring for the poor, sick, homeless, and otherwise unfortunate.
We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born, babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to protect, defend, and value all human life. Psalm 139. Jeremiah 1:4-5
We believe that evangelism is the obligation of every follower of Jesus Christ. The Lord commands us to go out and make disciples of all the Earth. We believe that each person is first responsible to evangelism in their own family as the Holy Spirit leads them and gives them the ability. We believe in the ordinance of water baptism by immersion in obedience to the Word of God. All those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior should be baptized in water as a public profession of their faith in Christ and to experience what the Bible calls the “circumcision of the Spirit.”
We believe in one God-Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Creator of all things. we believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, was crucified, died, was buried, was resurrected, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father and is true God and true man.We believe in personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. I believe in sanctification through the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit, and we believe in personal holiness, purity of heart and life. We believe in divine healing, through faith in the Name of Jesus Christ, and that healing is included in the Redemption.
